Kirby Comeaux (KI5EE)

Spineless Jellyfish

There is really no need to pick on this guy much. Besides the fact this individual takes it upon himself to patrol my neighborhood often with his tracking equipment, he's mostly uninteresting.

Speaking of tracking equipment, this man likes to go to hamfests and participate in their fox hunts. Mind you, these events are designed to teach younger hams the techniques of radio direction finding and tracking using equipment most hams would have on hand. This guy shows up with his doppler tracking equipment and usually spoils their fun (and opportunity to learn something useful) in a matter of minutes. Then he brags about it later as if he accomplished something. Sort of reminiscent of the 13-year-old retarded 3rd grader feeling good about himself comparing his athletic abilities to the normal 3rd graders. Of course, Kirby can impress me if he can show up at a hamfest with just an HT and compete fairly. Maybe then I wouldn't taste my lunch trying to escape when he brags about it to a group of unbelievably impressed hams on the repeater. God help this man's ego when some other retiree drops $500 on a doppler tracking system and beats him at his own game.

Even more humorous is this guy's fascination with patrolling my house. Anyone, and I mean ANYONE, on the repeater who is acting up and Kirby is driving up and down my street. I think the man has a gay crush or something.  Oh well, it is his gas and he never looks at the house while driving by. I think he suspects I am always videoing.
